TravelDoctores was built around a simple idea: a patient abroad, traveling, or simply short on time should be able to speak with a real doctor within minutes. Today we operate across 6 Spanish-speaking countries โ and this is only the beginning.
We’re not a clinic. We’re technology.
TravelDoc S.L. operates as a technology intermediary. Collaborating physicians practice with full clinical independence, under their own license and professional liability. We handle the platform, payments and operations.
Where we are and where we’re going
Headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. Active operations in Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Peru and Colombia. We plan to expand into new Latin American markets from 2026โ2027, with a focus on specialized telemedicine and on-demand digital health services.
On-demand model, no fixed shifts
We don’t assign you a schedule. You decide when you’re available on the platform. When a patient arrives and you’re online, the consultation happens โ no bureaucracy, no waiting rooms, with payment processed immediately.
English as our language of expansion
We serve predominantly Spanish-speaking patients, but our network spans multiple countries and international partners. A high level of English is required because internal communications, technical documentation and international partnerships all operate in English.

What does it mean that TravelDoctores is a “technology intermediary”? โพ
TravelDoc S.L. does not employ physicians and assumes no clinical liability. We are the platform that facilitates the connection between patient and professional. Each doctor practices independently under their own license and professional liability insurance. We manage the technology, payments and administrative operations.
How much does a physician earn per consultation on TravelDoctores? โพ
The fee structure is established individually in the collaboration agreement signed between each professional and TravelDoc S.L. The specific figures are not published here, but we share them transparently before asking for any commitment. What we can say: the fee per consultation is fixed, known in advance, and processed automatically through the platform.
Can I work with TravelDoctores if I only hold a license in one country? โพ
Yes. You only need an active license in the country where you practice. There is no requirement to be licensed in all six countries where we operate. You will only be able to see patients within the scope of your current license โ a legal and ethical requirement that the platform enforces strictly.
Can I work with TravelDoctores if I already have my own practice or another job? โพ
Absolutely. The collaboration model is fully compatible with other professional activities. Many of our physicians combine TravelDoctores with their private practice, hospital work, or academic roles. There is no exclusivity clause and no minimum number of hours required.
Why is high-level English required if patients are Spanish-speaking? โพ
Good question. Consultations are conducted in Spanish โ the English requirement isn’t about patient communication. It’s because: (1) part of the platform’s internal documentation is in English; (2) we have international partners and systems that operate in English; (3) we are preparing to serve English-speaking patients in certain specialties; and (4) it is a professional standard in international telemedicine that we maintain across our entire team.
Is there room to grow within TravelDoctores for administrative staff? โพ
Yes, and genuinely so. We’re in a phase of accelerated growth with expansion plans into new markets. People who join the administrative team now are positioned to take on more responsibility as we scale. We don’t promise that on paper โ we demonstrate it through the track record of people who’ve been with us since early days.
