Our platform was founded by two Latin American doctors based in Barcelona, combining years of telemedicine experience with a deep understanding of what it means to seek medical care far from home.

Our Medical Director

TravelDoctor-es is led by Dr. Pablo Jose Rossi, a licensed physician in Argentina, Spain, and other countries, with a specialization in Family and Community Medicine. Dr. Rossi also holds two master’s degrees in Sports Medicine and Clinical Medicine and has over ten years of experience in healthcare systems across Argentina, Spain, and Mexico. His commitment to quality care and patient safety guides our mission to deliver professional, accessible, and human-centered healthcare to travelers worldwide.

Yes, whenever you submit your request it is instantly received by the doctors active at that time. There’s always someone on the other side who’s ready to see you. When you receive an option for an appointment, there’s a person behind it (a doctor) who’s read your request and is willing to assist you.

You won’t be able to message your doctor with follow-up questions. You will have to make a new request

Prepaid insurance plans cannot be used to pay directly for the consultation. However, our rates are affordable enough to pay out of pocket. After the consultation, you can request an invoice to submit to your travel insurance provider for potential reimbursement. TravelDoc is designed to make access to care simple, transparent, and independent from insurance networks.

You can use our telemedicine services for a variety of non-life-threatening health concerns, including urgent care needs like minor injuries, cold and flu symptoms, stomach issues, or travel-related illnesses. We also offer primary care consultations for general health advice or prescription renewals, all provided by local doctors.

TravelDoctores currently provides online medical consultations exclusively for travelers and tourists in Europe, Argentina, and Mexico. Our services are not available in other countries at this time.
