referred to as TravelDoctor-ES). By using our service, you agree to comply with the following
terms and conditions. We recommend reading them carefully before using the TravelDoctor-ES
platform.
1- Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the TravelDoctor-ES platform, you agree to these terms and conditions
in full. If you do not agree with any of these terms, we ask that you refrain from using the
platform.
2- Purpose of the Platform – TravelDoctor-ES
The TravelDoctor-ES platform is solely intended to facilitate the scheduling of medical
appointments between patients and doctors.
However, patients should be aware that this service is not designed to address serious
emergencies or medical conditions that require immediate attention in a hospital setting. In such
cases, urgent in-person medical care is recommended.
No medical consultations are conducted through the platform, and any interaction between
patients and doctors is the sole responsibility of the parties involved. The company is not liable
for the quality, accuracy, or effectiveness of the medical services provided.
3- Use of the TravelDoctor-ES Platform
The use of the TravelDoctor-ES platform is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. By
accessing the platform, you warrant that you meet the minimum age requirement and that the
information you provide is accurate and up to date.
Access to and use of TravelDoctor-ES may depend on internet connectivity and the electronic
devices used by the patient. TravelDoctor-ES is not responsible for interruptions, technical
failures, or the inability to access services due to hardware, software, or connectivity issues
beyond our control.
4- Data Protection and Privacy
The TravelDoctor-ES platform is committed to protecting users’ privacy. All personal data will be
handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
5- Consent for Processing of Personal Data
By using the TravelDoctor-ES platform, you expressly consent to TravelDoctor-ES processing
your personal data to facilitate the scheduling of medical appointments. You understand that
your data may be transmitted internationally to third-party service providers related to the
platform.
6- Medical Licenses and Regulations
6.1 The TravelDoctor-ES platform is not obligated to verify doctors’ licenses. However, it is
established that all professionals using the platform must be duly licensed to provide medical
services in the relevant jurisdictions. The company assumes no responsibility for the validity of
these licenses.
6.2 Initially, the digital platform of the Ministry of Health of Argentina or equivalent foreign
platforms will be used to check medical licenses and their status when professionals are
onboarded. However, we cannot guarantee the ongoing validity of these licenses, as no periodic
checks will be made after the initial verification.
7- Appointment Cancellations
Patients have the right to cancel a medical appointment up to 15 minutes before the scheduled
time. Cancellations can be made through the platform or by direct contact with the doctor. If an
appointment is not canceled at least 15 minutes in advance, it will be considered a no-show.
8- Consequences of No-Show
In the event of a no-show without prior notice, a penalty may be applied, which will be
determined by the doctor. This penalty could include a charge for the reserved appointment and
will be communicated to the patient at the time of booking.
9- Payment Terms
The cost of medical consultations is independently set between the patient and the collaborating
doctor. TravelDoctor-ES retains 20% of the amount paid for the consultation, and the
corresponding payment to the doctor will be made one month after the appointment. The
company is not responsible for financial disputes between the patient and the collaborating
doctor, for the accuracy of the costs communicated by the doctors, or for the patient’s failure to
pay.
10- Limitation of Liability
The company is not responsible for the satisfaction with the services provided by doctors
through the platform. Any complaints or claims regarding the quality of medical care should be
directed to the corresponding doctor. In accordance with Spanish Civil Liability Law, the
company will not assume any civil liability for damages that may arise from the relationship
between patients and doctors.
11- Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising in connection with the use of the TravelDoctor-ES platform or these terms
and conditions will be resolved through mediation. If a satisfactory agreement is not reached
through mediation, the parties may submit the dispute to arbitration, in accordance with current
legislation in Spain. The arbitrator’s decisions will be binding on both parties.
12- Modifications to the Terms
The company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Modifications
will take effect once published on the platform. We recommend regularly reviewing the terms to
stay informed of any changes.
13- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Spain. Any disputes
arising in relation to these terms will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of
Barcelona, Spain.
